Accommodations
Watermen’s Retreat consists of 14 waterfront suites, a secluded cottage plus a range of budget friendly cabanas. Our accommodations offer a unique blend of amenities, convenience and comfort. All of our accommodations are furnished to the highest level and include all the features and décor you would expect from a modern waterfront resort. Our range of accommodation options allow for group events of any size with stays starting at just 3 nights.
Food & Drink
Our onsite restaurant, Watermen’s Bar & Grill, showcases the waterfront experience with incredible waterfront, a friendly staff and a unique indoor/outdoor design. Watermen’s Bar & Grill is OPEN 9am – 9pm daily serving delicious, freshly prepared food, plus the best coffee, local beers and mixed drinks on the Outer Banks.
To make your stay even more convenient, you can set up a tab at Watermen’s Bar & Grill and never have to worry about carrying cash or credit cards during your stay.
Event Venue & Catered Events
Our event venue features over 4 acres of waterfront Bermuda grass and what many say is the best sunset in the world. Watermen’s has a full selection of venue sizes to perfectly suit your style and budget.
We partner with a select list of proven caterers that will provide the perfect dining component to your experience.
Entertainment
At Watermen’s Retreat, entertaining your family or group is always the best part of the equation. Right out your door you have the options of kiteboarding, surfing, foiling, standup paddleboarding, jet ski tours, fishing, shopping, and sightseeing. All these activities are accessible as a group or on your own. Something as simple as relaxing on your waterfront deck and watching the world class sunset, ends up being an activity shared by all and remembered forever.

Sitting here tonight in Pittsburgh thinking about how AWESOME Watermen’s Retreat is! The Watermen’s staff came through 1000% for us while hosting our daughter’s wedding. They set up a tent, found us a great DJ and catered the best shrimp and pulled pork for the reception for 56 people! We love this place!!
